Dear Ms. ______,

First of all I wish to thank you for your kind below letter to DenRus and for your interest in our company and services. We would be delighted to provide services for you and your companions, in case you find our proposal to be attractive.

Secondly, I wish to introduce myself. My name is Ksenia, and I shall be your personal contact, and professional shore excursion advisor, until we, you and I, have succeeded in creating for you your ideal St. Petersburg excursions program.

We are finalizing our arrangements for August this week and would ask you to kindly make your decision as soon as possible.

In our web-site www.denrus.ru you will find a few words on our company, but the most important thing is that our DenRus shore excursions programs DO NOT require Russian visas, which is an instant savings of $ 50-200 USD per person, based on the processing time. Our company, DenRus shall handle and process with the Russian Border Crossing officials your entire immigration and visa documentation based on passport information we shall later request from you.

DenRus has been directly and officially licensed and authorized by the Russian government to receive foreign cruise passengers and to work and operate inside the closed St. Petersburg port areas.

In the morning of your ship's arrival the representative of DenRus will greet you on the quayside and introduce you to your guide and driver.

So - let's start working and creating your excursion program.

We offer a unique opportunity to choose between Value Tour and Custom Tour which we provide for cruise passengers:

The most popular Value Excursion is the Complete St. Petersburg www.denrus.ru/valueex/1completespb.html which is an all inclusive 2 day program including fine meals and camera fees. These feature the most requested destinations and activities. This program is priced at $ 295 per person for the entire 2 day intensive program. The Value tours are identical copies of the same tours your ships offer and sell for hundreds of passengers at an extremely high cost. Our Value Tours offer the same sights, the same experiences as the higher priced ship’s tour (comfortable bus load 30 pax). The only exceptions might be the restaurants used, but again, the atmosphere and menu of our restaurants is identical to what your ship’s tours offer.

But if you prefer to stay only with your companion, be more flexible and have more luxurious tour we advise our popular Custom Tour. Custom Tours are priced depending on the number of people in the group, adding more lowers the cost per person. You’ll be able to enjoy the sights staying only with a private guide and a driver and make slight changes in the itinerary upon your desire.

I am enclosing for your consideration my first draft proposal requesting in return your opinion and feedback. Please, study the attached program carefully, show and discuss it with your other traveling partners, and let me know your opinion the soonest.

Please kindly be advised that the quoted package prices include group visa, transportation, guide’s services and all the entrance tickets per the itinerary. The photo/video fees that apply at most of the museums, are not included (except the Catherine Palace and Peter-and-Paul Fortress, where they are included in the entrance ticket) - they must be paid on the spot.

We would be also pleased to arrange an evening program for you during your stay in St. Petersburg . The Ballet and Folklore are also available both, for the Value Tour Evening of Russian Ballet or Folkloric show or for Custom Evening tour for your company only.

Please kindly be advised that it is not the policy of DenRus to put people together for Custom Tour, in order to minimize the costs. We do have a FORUM for the cruise passengers on our website. You can find many interesting things there, and the direct link to the char where you can find partners is: denrus.net/smf/index.php?board=2.0

Also our tourists usually find companions on cruise critic board. www.cruisecritics.com

If you have any questions and comments, please, do not hesitate to contact us.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely yours,

Ksenia

Dear Ms. _____,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

As I have already told you in my previous e-mail the tours you have chosen do not require any special prearrangements. You can rent a car with guide for 8 hours and tour St. Petersburg as you wish. You will see the most popular highlights of the city and have an opportunity to take pictures of them, walk along Nevsky prospect and shop in local markets and department stores. You will also visit one of the Orthodox churches of the city during the tour. I would inform you that the rent of an air-conditioned car and guide is 415 USD for 6 hours and 534 USD for 8 hours. The rent of a car without air-condition and guide services cost 336 USD for 6 hours and 432 USD for 8 hours. The rent of a car for less hours during the high season is not possible.

If you would like to take a canal cruise or visit one of the museums of the city you will need to tell your guide to take you to this place and pay cash directly to museum for entrance. Our guide will gladly assist you.

Approximate cost of a boat cruise along rivers and canals of St. Petersburg with local people is 15 USD per person. Please, be advised that you will need cash rubles to pay for boat trip or other entrance fees. Our guide will show yo the currency exchange offices or ATM machines.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely yours,
Ksenia

A disfrutar!

Un saludo
